Critical Impact is seeking multiple entry-level candidates to join our professional sales team as Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs). The ISR role is a great way to get started in this industry. You’ll earn a solid base salary plus commission(based upon performance), while learning the email marketing business from the ground up. You will have limitless upward advancement and earning potential.
The ideal ISR candidate is an individual with natural “people skills”, ie communicating and making new contacts is fun and comes easily for you. The ISR is fearless on the phone, enthusiastic about technology, hard-working and very entrepreneurial-minded. The ISR’s primary responsibility is to identify qualified prospects and set demo appointments for Account Executives. The successful ISR will focus on efficiently communicating the value of our platform to potential customers, using phone, email and web. The company will provide all of the necessary tools to set you up for success from Day 1. This means training, training and more training. When we say “you’re ready”, you will be ready to crush it.
For the top gun ISRs, this position is merely a stepping stone toward becoming a member of our Account Executive team.
Once you are trained, we’ll expect you to:
- Generate and qualify leads through a combination of cold calling and email communications
- Attain a daily quota of outbound cold calls to achieve your appointment goals
- Effectively and efficiently manage a sales territory
- Effectively and efficiently manage a “nurture funnel” using Salesforce and other company-provided tools
- Understand and implement a structured prospecting strategy and process
- Field questions regarding Critical Impact’s suite of marketing solutions
- Demonstrate our product in a web demo environment
- Achieve performance metrics and goals set by management
Required education, experience, and mindset:
- Four-year college degree in business/marketing or equivalent work experience
- Rock-star communication skills (written and verbal)
- Track record of high achievement – tell us what you’ve done that makes you a winner
- Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Previous experience in outbound telemarketing or appointment setting is a plus, but not required
- Integrity, energy, competitive spirit, financial motivation, and strong time management skills will set you apart
- Strong sense of urgency for goal, financial and professional achievement
- Strong analytical skills and proven ability to think strategically
